Work has been nuts but I have managed to see a couple of shows over the last few weeks. My friend Justin took me to see Bye Bye Birdie. We first had Cocktails and Appetizers at The Blue Bar at the Algonquin Hotel. The show was not wonderful but it was okay. John Stamos is adorable and Bill Irwin was amazing.
I was also invited to see In the Heights with Justin but couldn't go because I was working on an assignment. I had to interview two children's theater groups in the city for The Villager's annual Theater Issue. http://thevillager.com/villager_340/limecatandliterally.html
My friend Ragan was going to come in for Halloween weekend but unfortunately she was feeling under the weather so we postponed the trip. She did treat to Opera tickets for Aida which was amazing.
I went to see Whip It with Carrie and Tiffany after our office party. I also snuck in for the tail end of Esther and Mikie's photo shoot in Gramercy Park. We then went for me to be the test subject for the 24 hour make up place across from the hotel. They did a nice job considering the subject was no Venus.
